The VIFFF – Vevey International Funny Film Festival is a convivial event dedicated to comedy. So that we can laugh together during these five festive days, the festival is committed to providing a respectful, inclusive, and safe environment.
The VIFFF does not tolerate any form of harassment, discrimination, or violence.
In particular:
Discriminatory remarks or behavior (for example, related to a person’s gender, origin, sexual orientation, physical appearance, etc.)
Non-consensual physical contact and insistence after a refusal
Verbal or physical aggression
Any violation may result in immediate exclusion from the festival.
How to react in case of a problem?
If you witness or are the victim of inappropriate behavior:
A “care team,” identifiable by their pink vests, is available to listen to you and provide support. Do not hesitate to reach out to them: they will intervene with respect for your needs. Security staff are also present during evening events.
You can also seek help by asking for “Angela” at the bar or from a member of the VIFFF team.
In case of emergency, first dial 144 (medical emergencies) or 117 (police), then inform the organization as well as the security staff.
At any time:
You can write to us before, during, or after the festival at info@vifff.ch to report a situation, ask a question, or provide feedback.
If you wish to contact a resource independent of the festival, we invite you to reach out to our partner, the Vaud-based association “Stop au harcèlement” (http://www.stop-au-harcelement.ch).
Let us laugh, sing, and dance together, with respect and kindness!
