Black Burns Fast

Luthando, a student at a prestigious boarding school, is preparing for an ordinary year. But Ayanda’s arrival throws her start to the school year into turmoil: she must keep a burgeoning desire hidden, remain a good student to keep her scholarship, and make her mother proud. A joyful, spirited film that gives a voice to Black queer youth under pressure, ready to burst into flame.
