On a String

A graduate of the prestigious Juilliard School, a young violist struggles to make a name for herself on New York’s music scene, while navigating a world of loved ones who are a little too disinterested and strangers who are sometimes a little too invested… A delicate auteur film that deftly walks the line between charm and discomfort, revealing the humour in the small incongruities of everyday life.
