Eldorado on a precarious contract
Nino, an Italian, emigrates to Switzerland, which he imagines to be a land of plenty where one can easily make a fortune. Once there, however, he discovers the harsh reality of a labour market that is ruthless towards foreign workers. Quirky, tender, socially conscious and carried by Nino Manfredi at the height of his art, Bread and Chocolate is in the purest tradition of Italian comedy.
